Representative Work

Workplace Investigations

Conducted a large-scale workplace investigation for a municipality, which included 15 recommendations submitted to and adopted by city council.

Privacy breach investigations

Completed investigations and drafted decisions on behalf of a provincial privacy commissioner into alleged breaches of applicable provincial privacy law.

Wrongful Dismissals

Defended against a wrongful dismissal action; successfully argued that the plaintiff was on a series of fixed-term contracts and not entitled to notice of termination.
